Detroit's skyline glows with unusual intensity for an otherwise quiet Sunday night. While scouting out locations to shoot the 2012 Detroit fireworks from, my friend and I stumbled upon this buried location frequented by the local fishermen. We eventually concluded that despite the great view, the angle was too low, and that the Ambassador Bridge would obstruct the fireworks. Never the less, the view itself was well worth the journey.
